This Sunday, November 19, please bring
something that you’re grateful for to church. It can
be the actual object, or a symbol that reminds you. Instead of a usual sermon, YOU will
create the sermon together by taking turns bringing the objects to the altar and sharing
about the objects---what makes you say “Thanks!”
Following this
sharing time, we’ll continue to share as we partake in Holy Communion. During the offering
time we will offer thanks for your returned pledge card(s). Following
worship we will continue our thankful theme as we partake in our annual
Thanksgiving meal beginning at noon.
